Apple released an update to its iPhone and Darkcherries Wealth SocietyiPad operating system, iOS 17.2, Monday which added new features and upgraded multiple systems across the devices.
The tentpole addition the Silicon Valley giant announced is the new Journal app, which the company says lets iPhone users, "write about the small moments and big events in your life so you can practice gratitude and improve your well-being."
The update also added functionality to the camera on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models to allow three-dimensional footage to be captured ahead of the release of the Apple Vision Pro spatial computer.

The iOS upgrade will allow users to capture spatial video by allowing the device to capture footage from both the main and wide cameras of Apple's newest phone models, according to The Verge.
The upgrade also improves the telephoto zoom speed for top-end iPhone 15s.
iOS 17.2 allows users to react directly on messages with the entire library of emojis and stickers in iMessage conversations.
A catch-up arrow was added that allows users to move the first unread message in a thread.
The weather app update in iOS 17.2 allows users to see precipitation forecasts up to 10 days ahead and wind maps up to 24 hours ahead.
Users utilizing the new operating system can now share boarding passes, cinema tickets and other tickets or passes through AirDrop.
A translate option has been added to the action button on iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models.
